Hi there.

 

Greetings from the Canadian Rockies. If you have come this far, you are likely interested in rock, ice climbing and/or mountaineering. To quickly introduce myself, my name is Benjamin, an independent guide member of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. I am currently established in the Canadian Rockies in the beautiful town of Canmore, Alberta. For many years, I have been guiding people from all walks of life on different kinds of adventures. Whether it's been on rock, ice or on top of a mountains, I have met and shared spectacular positions with amazing guests searching for a unique experience, gain knowledge, refine their skills or simply try something new. From beginners to experts, I have met numerous mountain enthusiasts and climbers with whom I've had the pleasure to share a rope and a great adventure.

To talk a bit about myself, I was born North of Montreal where I grew up enjoying the outdoors. I started climbing early on and it's been a passion since then. I literally haven't stopped for more than a month or two since then. I've had the chance to meet the right mentors quite early on in my climbing career. After trying a rather different career obtaining a Master's in Political Science and spending a fair amount of time in China as a language student, I got fed up and quickly decided to settle in Canmore to later pursue a guiding career. With the aim of mastering my skills, I traveled to many places such as Patagonia, Morocco, the French alps, Greece, Mexico, Switzerland and more. 

 

Today, I still live in Canmore with my wife and son with whom I spend most of my days off playing in the mountain. There is always something fun to do out here no matter what the conditions are. After so many years out here and pursuing climbing at a rather frantic rate, I realize that there are still an infinite amount of adventures to be had at every time of the year. I wish everyone to discover and experience this amazing climbing and mountaineering destination.
